FAQ
Q: Can you make my belly really personal - based on my experiences during that pregnancy?
A: Yes, that is why the prices vary.
Q: What do you use to make the cast?
A: I use medical grade plaster bandage rolls. When mixed with warm water, it is quite relaxing.
Q: How long does the process of the casting take as well as the finished product?
A: The actual casting process takes about an hour. (From set up to clean up). I can come to your home, or you can come to my studio.
The process of completing your piece, can take about 6-8 weeks depending on your design.
Q: What does a person do with their art piece?
A: As this is a piece of art to be given to that child later in life, a lot of people put it in the nursery for starters, or in their room. A belly bowl can be used anywhere, to hold fruit, be an art piece in a cabinet or living room on a table. Depending on the piece, depends on where it goes. Breast and Bum casts usually end up in the bedroom.
